Age limits for child discounts
- Children between 2 and 11 years old may receive a discount on flight tickets
- The discount applies only if the child is still 11 years old or younger during the journey
- Whether a discount is available depends on the terms and conditions of the airline

- If the child is 11 years old on the outbound trip but turns 12 before the return trip, adult prices usually apply for the whole journey

If you want to book a flight ticket for a child between 5 and 16 years old who will be travelling alone, some airlines offer an Unaccompanied Minor Service
